We are back from our 2 1/2 week vacation.   California was great, but it is great to be back home.

We will continue our Lifegroups after camp starting August 7.  The first Sunday after camp will be the start of our VBS.   Come be a part of that at the building starting at 6:00.  There will be an class for those who are not helping with the VBS.

Lesson: Faith - Seeing things not Seen

This Sunday, we will meet at the Dial's.  We will be looking at readings from Hebrews 11, Psalm 20 and Ephesians 1.   Bring the usual sandwiches and chips for our meal at 5:30 and Bible for our spiritual meal at 6:30.  

No Meeting @ the Dial's Tonight or June 5th.

We are having a 5th Sunday Schedule next week on June 5th, so there will be no meeting then.   Be sure to come out to the Coopers after church Sunday Afternoon for a great time of fellowship and cool wet fun!   C U THERE!

The community outreach lawn mowing was great!   I didn't count how many people we had but we had a such a good turn out that many times people had to wait for something to do.  And it's not because we didn't mow any lawns.  We mowed around 6 or 7 lawns.  (I really lost count).  Many of those were front and back all done in about a 3 hour time span.  People were great to talk to and very appreciative of our efforts.  

Thanks Sabra for the great idea and all those who came out to help. 

    Our kids will be going to the Anatole in Dallas this weekend.   Pray for safety and great performances and service during this time.  Good luck to all our groups participating.

     Also be praying about the future of LTC as we are in need of people to step up and take the reigns of this endeavor.  The more who step up, the less work is required on those in charge.  Consider being a part of this important ministry.

April 30.   Lawn mowing day

  Plan now on bringing your items needed to clean up yards.  The more the Merrier. Set this day aside to serve our community.    More details will come, but right now it sounds like we will meet at a central location tbd and then decide what roads we are going to drive down.   We will knock on doors asking if they would like for us to do some clean up around their house for free.     If you have other ideas about it, join us at the our website to discuss the matter.

May 20. Movie night.   Go ahead and mark the date now.  Details will come later.  

We are going through the questions at the end of Max Lucado's book called, When God Whispers Your Name.   We are back at our house at 5:30

Drama practice will be at 4:15 at the church building.  We will take you to our life group after the practice.   If you lost your script, you can find it At the top of the home page.

We will be travelling to Paradise this month for our Lifegroups. The Bryants are graciously hosting this event and Doug will be bringing us our lessons.  Time remains the same at 5:30 on Sundays.   Bring Chips or Sandwiches

We will leave sometime after school of Friday, February 4.  We will be staying the night in the building of the South Plains Church of Christ.  We will be sleeping in classrooms so bring items you might bring to camp.

• Towels
• Soap and Shampoo
• CLOTHES!!!!
• etc.

We should be ariving at South Plains around 10:00pm.  We will wake up the next day and head over to LCU.  During the day, we will catch the famous "MASTER FOLLIES" show.  Once we have thoroughly checked LCU out, we will load the vans and head back home.  We should be home late Saturday Night.

ALSO SIGN UPS ARE IN THE FOYER FOR MASTER FOLLIES @ LCU - This is a trip to check out the LCU campus for high school youth group members. You will only need money for 2 fast food meals! It should be a great time had by all! Feb 4-5
